an eye witness report stated that more than 80 people will be killed by the Eritrean army in a small village with guns and knives, further sighting that after clash between the two forces numerous people were blamed for supporting the enemy by the Eritrean army and rounded up and killed in small villages, people state that many are still missing and the bodies of the ones shot were not allowed to be recovered until 3 days later until which numerous bodies had been devoured by hyenas.
